ABOUT US

The Speaker’s Ball is a long-standing tradition of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. In 2005, some foresighted individuals had an idea to ensure the tradition would be carried forward for many years to come. The Oklahoma Speaker’s Ball, Inc. (OSB) was formed that year as a stand-alone, perpetual entity, which is privately managed outside the walls of the State Capitol. Its mission was set forth: to plan and execute an annual gala, and to benefit a worthy Oklahoma charity of the Speaker’s choosing. And it’s purpose? To celebrate our democracy, to bring people together and to kickoff the start of our legislative session.
